As the summer sales season approaches, we would like to share a few tips that may help to improve online sales.
- Always Include Complete and Accurate Information- When a bidder has completed and accurate information, bidding is confident and quick. There will be no need to call for more information or go to the merchant website prior to placing a bid. Including accurate, clear descriptions of the items for sale prevents confusion and refunds too.
- Easy to find – Make sure to feature top selling items on the homepage. This allows for easy viewing and access to customers. Auction and Deal sites can also be featured on the station's homepage to further promote sales.
- Less is More - It doesn't always take a lot of items to have a good sale. Consider items with a high price tag to create a large revenue amount with only a few items for sale. Some items that may work well include vehicles, vacations, leases on cars or apartments, home improvement items such as roofs or driveways and since it is summer, don't forget the motorcycles, boats and RVs!
