Go Ahead Move Ahead by Planning Ahead

So the holidays have begun and we're all busy. Not just at work but also at home. For those of us that have children, busy-ness is exponentially growing based on performances, parties, gift exchanges etc. So much is going on at home that we sometimes put things at work on "auto-pilot" just so we can get through it.

Please let me encourage you to take one more manual step before placing your auctions on auto-pilot. Plan for 2018!
By thinking now to schedule your 2018 auctions, you will be making a giant step for mankind! Well, at least for your market.

Prepare an auction schedule including at least 4 auctions for 2018. Then, for two of those auctions, plan a BlowOut or secondary auction. Consider an additional auction for one large item that will run in June or July. (No better time to sell a convertible!) and then plan to tie in a charitable organization. Choose one item during each auction that will benefit that organization. Or, even better yet... have a charity auction complete with a customized donation page.

Doing all of this now will allow you to rest for the last few weeks of December. It will provide your sales team with all of the information they need to use the auction as a tool to bring new advertisers on board and it will give your graphics team plenty of time to create all of the imaging you could use.
