Needing some extra help as you start your auctions this summer? Try these Quick Tips for a Successful Auction:
- Try uploading a video or as many photos as you can to show off your item.
- ONLY USE THE WORD VOUCHER. Please don’t say gift certificates or certificates. Gift cards may be used if the merchant is sending their own.
- Don’t download the photos needed, just right-click and paste photos. Save time and downloading space on your computer.
- Use the default “Bid Increment” is the best case about 99% of the time. Call NeoFill for assistance (add link here).
- O.D. (pring-on-demand) are a great way for the winners to feel the excitement in hand. They are also less expensive and are ideal for the less expensive items.
- Give specific dates on the item’s restrictions. The vouchers will expire two years from the date of purchase.
- Make sure your featured items are on the home page or category page to highlight specific items or merchants.
- Don’t forget when you’re uploading the multiple items, to use the quantity button to create multiples, therefore, saving time from entering it over and over.
- Items can be cloned by clicking on the paper icon in the upper right corner of the bidding page. Edits can be made when needed.
- Don’t forget to double check to be sure the items in the selling tab are correct!
- Use the “In House Report” to keep track of your approval process.
- Have a full listing of all the items by running a master spreadsheet report prior to the launch date.
- When you’ve completed the auction, run a “Paid Report” and the “Unsold Unpaid” report to see the status of each item.
